I am a professional freelance writer, editor, copyeditor, and proofreader.

I am the author of One Wolf Howls, a children's picture book (Sylvan Dell Publishing / 2009) and six nonfiction books published by The Globe Pequot Press. I have also written extensively on health care and medical issues for a variety of clients.

As for my other interests, here are a few details:
(1) Animals: I have 5 cats (Buckles, Gizmo, Karma, Samson, and Sofia). I love all animals and in my next life, I would like to be The Pet Psychic.

(3) Writing: Look ^^^^^ up there for information on published writing. I recently sold poems to Highlights and Zootles magazines. Currently, I am writing books for younger children as well as a YA fantasy novel.

(4) Reading: I read many different types of things, but primarily fiction (I read to escape): fantasy, mystery. My favorite writers include Ray Bradbury, Madeline L'Engle, Susan Cooper, Clive Barker, Stephen King, Phillip Pullman, Diana Wynne Jones, Garth Nix, Edgar Allen Poe, P.L. Travers, Charles Dickens.

(5) Astrology: I am an astrologer. I don't predict the future or tell you who you are -- but I can offer some pretty interesting information for your consideration based on your birth chart.

(6) Tarot: Yes, I am a tarot reader. Again, I do not predict the future or dress in bizarre gypsy costumes and warn you about tall, dark strangers. I use Tarot cards to help people look at situations from a different perspective, increase self-awareness, and take responsibility for their lives.
